Preparing For Sacraments-Kids and Students

Sacramental Prep is our process for preparing students to receive their 1st Reconciliation and 1st Eucharist. It is a two year process- check out the chart to see if your child is ready for prep! 
 

• Year 1: KidMin / Catholic School in 1st Grade
• Year 2: KidMin / Catholic School in 2nd Grade AND Sacramental Prep Sessions (3 Winter / 3 Spring)

Students need to be enrolled in either KidMin or a Catholic School for two years as part of their on-going faith formation. During the 2nd year, additional Sacramental Prep Sessions are also required for all students regardless of school.

KidMin- faith formation for those in K-5th grade 
Summit- Becoming Catholic for kids/students from 3rd-12th grade
SLAM- Children's Liturgy of the Word, held during Mass​​​

Confirmation Prep is our process for preparing students to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. It is a two year process:

• Year 1: MSM / Catholic School in 7th Grade
• Year 2: MSM / Catholic School in 8th Grade AND Confirmation Prep

Confirmation Prep Sessions begin in September and Confirmation is received in the Spring. 

Students need to be enrolled in either MSM or a Catholic School for two years as part of their on-going faith formation. During the 2nd year, required, monthly Confirmation Prep Sessions (including attendance at the 5:30 pm Mass) are also provided for all students regardless of school.

MSM- faith formation for students in grades 6th-8th.
Summit- Becoming Catholic for kids/students from 3rd-12th grade.
HSM- faith formation for students in grades 9th-12th.
