Winnie Mutunga

I have been a member of the parish since 2013 when I relocated to Bowie. ​ I am a
single mom with an amazing son, Luke, who attends SPX Regional School. I am a
Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in Public Health. My current role is a
Community Health Nurse at the Prince George’s County Health Department. I specialize
in Maternal-Child Health where I bridge the gap between resources and the
underserved moms in our community. I serve in the Lector ministry and have been part
of a small group since 2022 . In my free time, I love spending quality time with my family
and friends whether it’s enjoying a meal together, attending a concert or trying out new
hobbies. I enjoy exploring a variety of ice cream flavors, but you can never go wrong
with chocolate ice cream!
