I’ve been a member of SPX for about 7 years. I came to SPX because I was looking for physical facilities in the church building for the handicapped and hearing impaired - the projection screens are very helpful! I was also looking for good preaching and ways to grow my faith in community and am so grateful that I found Small Groups! My husband Gerry passed away after 47 years of marriage; we have 1 adult son. I currently serve as a small groups leader, in Warm Nights, as a greeter and at a donation closet at a nearby church. I worked in education, social work and real estate before retiring. I enjoy raspberry ice cream while reading and would love to vacation on a tropical beach or mountain lake.
