In October 2021, Pope Francis asked every parish in the world to think about a set of questions. He is curious as to how we listen to each other and the Holy Spirit, how we make decisions, and how we reach out to those on the margins. He thought it would be a great idea for every parish to talk about those issues.
Thank you to those who attended the Listening Session.
For anyone who could not be at the listening session, or who prefer to submit your comments in writing, please use the form below to provide your experiences and insights.
All of these comments plus those gathered in the listening session will be compiled both for our parish, and will be submitted to the Archdiocese of Washington and the Vatican to help guide our path forward.
The deadline to submit feedback using the online form is Monday, February 7.

Also, our parish Listening Session is based on a limited number of the Pope's original set of 17 questions. To see the original questions, and provide feedback on all of them, you can click HERE.
1a) Where have you experienced the church in general, or St Pius in particular, discussing and reflecting together how and where the Holy Spirit is leading us?
1b) Whose voices were included and whose were excluded? What joys and difficulties were included?
2) At this moment, what is the Holy Spirit asking of us as individual Christians and as a parish community?
3a) If you have ever felt excluded, ignored or undervalued by the church, what needs to be done differently to prevent that from happening again?
3b) What are you hearing from those on the peripheries that the church should be considering?
4) As a person in the pews, how are you called to proclaim the gospel, and do you feel equipped to do so?
5) How well does St. Pius X Church use listening and speaking (consultation) to make decisions?
